This is important to me in an elementary classroom because students tend to get off task and unmotivated when working individually. Working in a small group allows students to work with the teacher to ensure that they understand the material.

This is something that is important to me because as teacher, we teach our students material but we must ensure that they completely understand. Teaching, assigning and assessing students will help them become successful. This can also be done by ensuring that students at a higher educational level are challenged considering that students of a lower level, will need their own challenge.

parent involvement in the classroom

Considering that parent involvement is an obvious necessity, it is essential to welcome parents into the classroom. This can be done with meet the teacher in the beginning of the year as well as notes to go home for families. this allows parents to be aware of their students education and behavior.
